Klaus Kornprobst has been working on green roofs and buildings for over 20 years. He founded ClimaGrün in 2002. His goal was to create greening solutions that are functional, simple, and attractive.
His job includes increasing involvement with green architecture and research into and optimisation of green roof products and full system solutions. He and his team developed the patented thin water storage layer as a core element of sustainable green roofs.
His objective is to combine greening and system solutions in the best possible way in all areas. A solutions-driven approach, clear and efficient planning, easy installation, and low maintenance costs are the criteria that need to be met.
