Anne Oberrauch

Expert for climate-responsive landscape architecture.
Anne Oberrauch, born in South Tyrol, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in landscape planning and landscape architecture from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (BOKU) in winter 2022.

She majored in climate-responsive landscape architecture, which concerns climate change adaptation and plays an active role in the climate resilience of urban areas. Her bachelor thesis, which she wrote at the Institute for Landscape Development, Recreation and Conservation Planning, was entitled The Sponge City, a Climate Adaptation Strategy for Towns and Cities Based on Blue/Green Infrastructure. In the thesis, she examined the sponge city and its importance for the urban climate.
